What is
Cowboy Poetry?
Cowboy Poetry is as old as cowboys themselves. For lack of better things to do after a hard day on the range, cowboys of the Old West would sit around the camp fire at night and entertain one another with poems, tall tales known as "windies" or just plain good ol' stories! Staying up with 21st century technology, TERRY IKE CLANTON is keeping this Old West tradition alive with his New "Live" Video Webcast Show from the Haunted saloon. Ike recites his own poems along with others on this new show that also features old west history, beer tasting contests, special guests and a course a few laughs.
Want your poems recited on our New "Live" Video Webcast? Simply e-mail us your name and three original cowboy poems. By doing so you give us permission to read your poems on our "Live" webcast and/or re-publish in print. Please e-mail your poems in regular e-mail format, no attachments. Send subject of e-mail to: Cowboy Poetry. Please use captials & small letters, all caps are considered screaming online.

Reciting poetry is like a haircut. If it's good, you
feel like a million bucks.
If it's bad, you hide your head under a hat.

Different Horses...
